FOR ME it has to be "at the end of the day"
because at the end of the day, it is night-time.

The one that really grates is 'at this moment in time'. I also loathe 'mentoring', 'window', bizarre, carbon footprint and racism. They are all being done to death and some of them are utterly meaningless like my first and second example. I wish people would stop murdering the English Language, and the worst offenders are politicians and the purveyors of ghastly management speak.

The most overused word has to be AWESOME. The Grand Canyon is awesome; your new shirt is not. No one I know uses "stunning."

In Britain the most overused word is definitely "brilliant".
In the US I would say "awesome" -- especially by people under 30.

I think "Stunning" as well as "Beautiful" are overused way too much.
I mean, people use it when they don't even mean it.
It pisses me off because when I say it to someone who really is beautiful or stunning, they don't believe that I'm telling the truth.. Its being thrown around like its nothing, just like "I love you".

No, 'amazing' seems much more widely-used. Listen to any actor being interviewed on TV and I guarantee they'll say all of their co-stars and crew on whatever film they have out at the moment were 'amazing', the experience of makng the film was 'amazing', the location was 'amazing', LA is 'amazing', their interviewer is 'amazing', the designer of their Oscars dress is 'amazing'..... please, somebody buy these people a thesaurus!!!
Another annoying phrase is 'to give 110%', which is a particular favourite of sportspeople.

Define 'overused'. I think you'll find you're defining it as something close to 'the word that annoys me the most personally'.

Yes, I think "stunning" is taking over from "literally."
