OK let me try again I am looking for a man named Carlyle or Carlisle who was a deputy with the Los Angeles Sheriffs in the 1950's perhaps longer. Any ideas I've called the personnel department there and they never answered me.

Go to www.scgsgenealogy.com. When you get there go to the search box and type in diamond-toothed. Then towards the bottom of that search it will say "1. Southern California Geneological Society: Los Angeles City Cemetery", click on that. It will tell you all about Carlisle and there is a contact number at the bottom of the page.

Hope that helps, Good luck.
