Hi I work for a rescue centre in east of England. There just aren't any kittens about yet. We get at least a dozen calls a day for kittens. They wont start coming into the shelter until late April, May time. Best bet is to contact your local rescue centres and ask to go on there waiting list for when they start to come into the shelter. Please don't get one out of the paper, you could be buying a bundle of problems.

Dear god...we need to find away to get some of the ones from here in Georgia (USA) to you. We had to basically (sell) the kittens to the rescue center because they were already slam packed with kittens last spring.

Now would be a good time for you to fly to the Good ole'
US of A and pick you up some extra kittens. Heck take em' back to England and start a "kitty black market."

Americans UNITE and donate kitties to England!!!

Kitten season is starting, therefore keep an eye on local rescues & shelters! Give it a week or two, and you should have no problem finding kittens to choose from.

Check with your local shelter, I am sure they have a lot of kittens waiting for homes. Don't rule out older kitties, you could find that one of them will walk to the front of the cage with their tail in the air and enchant you for life.

And let me let you in on a little secret: animals know when they are being rescued, I have had many of them actually show gratitude when I pluck them out of a place that smells of fear and death.

Have you tried your local animal shelter? There are thousands of cats (and dogs) looking for their forever home waiting in shelters.
