Thats just silly, as it sounds to me like you already know.
Lots of kids eat red pepper in cultures all over the world, including America. Nutrition and genetics have to do with your growth not red pepper.

I have never heard of red pepper stunting one's growth. I have heard it used for various medicinal purposes. As long as it doesn't cause any irritation to their stomachs, I would say let them 'go for it'. Take a look at this site and scroll to the bottom to see its value: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chilli_pepper, this site will give you quite a bit of information. The red pepper's seeds are what I like on my pizza. They give it a real bite. Bon appite'

I ate red pepper and spicy foods all my life. I'm 15, 5'4''. I have a brother, 1 year younger than me, 8 inches taller than me. I also developed acid reflux from all the spicy foods. Have them eat it in moderation.
