She can buy her own food. Don't let her use you.

Buy her food if you want to buy her food, but don't do it thinking you will get something. She's not that into you, but it looks like she still wants to be friends.

Take it from someone who had "so many" guy friends; it will never happen. Don't continue the relationship thinking she might "come around". I hated all the guys that did that. If you are in it just for the "possibility" of a future romance, move on. You will save the both of you a lot of trouble. Move to a girl who can't keep her hands off you.

If you are friends, then this question should not be asked. What should be asked, is why you hinge buying something like food on a relationship. That is why so many girls detest being 'friends' with guys, because they seem to have to put a price tag on things. 'I buy you this, you put out. I do this for you, you do this for me'. I personally find it demeaning and disgusting. If you do something for someone, you do it because you want to, not to 'get something' in return. The gift is in the giving, not in payment rendered. If she is your friend, and you want to buy her food, do it. Just as she should buy you food, if she wants to. NOT for a 'relationship' but for the sake of friendship.

You shouldn't buy her anything if what you are doing is trying to get close to her. She said she doesn't want a relationship so don't waste your money if those are your intentions. Buy her food if you are doing just out of friendship but be careful because it seems like she will take advantage of you spoiling her the way that you are. Good luck.

Well you don't want to come off as trying to bribe her. You know, if you two cover each other as friends all the time, or if she didn't bring any lunch money that day it might be the gentlemen thing to do. But if she has her own money, let her get it herself there's nothing wrong with that.

You won't change her mind by buying her food.

Well you can buy her lunch if you feel like being a nice guy. There is no reason to do it every time. And if you are buying her lunch to get something out of it then don't bother. There is no harm in going dutch.

Nothing wrong with buying a friend lunch. She should also take you out sometimes though.

She may take advantage of your feelings and let you pay as long as you will.

If you have lots of money, go for it.

If you are both in the same financial boat, treat her like you would one of the guys. Pay for your own, make that clear. Or take turns.
