I've known a girl since I was about 12, she never really spoke to me and i've always sort of fancied her a bit. but last year she started to speak to me, and know we're friends, and I really fancy the pants of of her, as in I want to spend the rest of my life with her.
But I found out that she didn't fancy me, and having thought about it made the decision that it was never going to be, so i decided to move on, but im finding it hard to do.
It got to the stage (when I didn't know if she fancied me) where I would deliberately walk past her so she'd notice me, so the first step i've taken is to avoid her. but i'm still wondering how to finally stop fancying her. does anyone have any ideas and is it actually possible to just stop fancying someone? I already feel I fancy her a bit less now...

tell me about it, I have the same problem as you, although it's more than just fancy and I don't know if she likes me or not. about finding another girl, it seems almost impossible because I have feelings only for her, when I am at higscholl I don't care about the others, she's the only one for me. That's how I think.

You really can't make yourself not like someone, but it helps to get involved with someone else so you don't feel like you need that person as much to fill that certain need in your life.
