U pose a rather interesting question. Most do not really know what is meant by unconditional love. When I was much younger I did not know this either. However since I am much older and hopefully wiser I find that unconditional love is how we approach what "WE" consider LOVE.
To most love is what is called EROS, which is sexual. However, I have found that " Real Love " is what is called "AGAPE Love ". The second one is what is referred to as
GOD's love for us and HE gives up many examples of this " LOVE ".
I find that everywhere that most people will define love as something that is only symbolic and that it is just a thing that passes with many empty words to make it look like the real thing but is not any where near what is supposed to be what is really meant for " UNCONDITIONAL LOVE ".
I know that I am taking a long way to explain but it is knowing that no matter what happens or the circumstances, my love will always be there no matter what happens. We are conditional people and we have conditions on what we allow. However, Unconditional love goes above and beyond this barrier and has no conditional regards for the love that we have. UNCONDITIONAL LOVE therefore is without any conditions whatsoever. It is the true love by which real we equate how we treat each other with. Either we are conditional or we are Unconditional.

Real love is always true and unconditional. If it is not true and unconditional, it isn't really love, it's something else, like lust. Just hormones going crazy.
If someone says they are in love, that should mean that you love that person no matter what. They even if you or they are having a bad day that you still love them and want to be with them. If you are in love, you still may have disagreements, it is how you handle them that's important. Open communication is important, as is honesty. They are the first person you want to tell good news to, and the person you want there when you get bad news. They make you smile no matter what, even if you are ticked off at the world! You want to spend the rest of your life with them, and only them. That is true, unconditional love to me!

Yes love can be true and unconditional. But to experience it you must be an empathic person because you cannot reach at the answer without arriving at ones situation and knowing the real trouble in the mind of person whom you loved and as i think so, you have been through a failure in love

Sure, but it is rare.
My love for my grandchildren is true and unconditional. I'm proud of them because they breathe.
There are times when I may not like something they do, but that doesn't change the strength of my love for them.

I think it is hard for a person to truely love someone unconditionally. Some people have this connection where they can do that, but there are still ups and downs. I think that its hard for people to love unconditionally, there are always conditions. Only God can love unconditionally I think.
