Can u contract head lice w/o being near someone that has it already? Also how can u check ur own head to see if u got it? And does anyone know any home remedies u can use to get rid of it on ur head IF u do have it?

If they were in your home or near you you can generally your head will itch real bad you need to wash all your bedding and clothes that are contaminated in Hot water you need to put Vaseline on your hair and sleep with a shower cap overnight it is the only thing that will kill the eggs it smothers them your hair will be greasy for a week use ajax dish soap to wash the vaseline out my kids have had lice several times from school and the Rid supplys can cause liver damage and the lice become immune to it
