to be filled with the Holy Spirit, u have to accept God as ur Master and Creator and open ur heart to Him and then u will be filled with the Holy Spirit..all u have to do is FULLY and WHOLEHEARTEDLY accept God

LOL. You are already getting lots of very confusing responses. What you have posed here is a typical 'Which came first, the chicken or the egg" question.
How can a person understand the bible- Through holy spirit
How can they get holy spirit- By asking God for it
How do you find out about this God who can give you holy spirit- The bible

Here is the truth sister, MOST Christians SKIP a step and take a blind leap into things called "faith". And for the most part I have found that many who claim to have been filled with holy spirit, know very little about scripture or even read and studied the bible entirely.

The Holy Spirit is PART of God's word. It even says in the bible you cannot blasphemy the spirit - you will not be forgiven. To be filled with the Holy Spirit ~ I would define as recognizing the unity of all 3 (father son holy ghost) are just as unified within ourselves. The potential is all within us, our eyes are just dimmed to the brightness of truth.:o[]

Good question. For me it was when I asked. Then it comes in steps, if one wants more of the indwelling of God's Holy Spirit. I did not feel the presence of God until I began to speak in tongues. We fill ourselves in different ways at different times. For me at times, He comes while I am worshiping God. At other times, it is when I pray. Other times while I am reading His Word or doing His will. I guess it all boils down to developing an intimate relationship with God through His Son, Jesus the Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.

Jesus! The only way to the father is the son. Jesus said he must go back to his father in order for us to recieve the counselor that is the Holy Spirit who would guide us and teach us all the things we need. Since Jesus is the only way to the father, and since it is in his name that the spirit is sent to us, then Jesus is the way to get the spirit . Ive read this in the Bible, and Im sorry, but I dont have time to look it up; but go look, youll find it. Jesus is the only way.
