all your kids are on half term, what help do you get with childcare if any?

Relatives, play dates with other children who are in the same class switching off days on who has who.

you have just got your half term ,i just finished mine try an get lots of colouring stuff in for your young children an cakes mine love baking even though it kills me afterwards to clean the mess up ,i work part time just three days a week ,an i hate the half term holidays my oldest daughter also helps me out she takes my youngest son out an about so it helps a lot .

Most of the time my dad put me and my sister into a childminders, but for a few dats we often went to our grandparents.

There are lots of kids clubs at sport centres/ youth centres/ ymca during holiday weeks too.

This is a really difficult time for me.......the kids seem to have more holidays now than I ever remember having!!!

Usually I try and take time off but if this aint possible my boss allows me to bring my little girl in with me ( thank god )

I get 5 weeks holiday a year from my job and the kids have around 16 weeks off!!! WTF are single parents supposed to do!!!!

ask at the school if the kno of any holiday play scheams. i kno they do them as my mother in law runs one! they're really gd, the kids just play all day, n by the time they go home they're 2 tired 2 b naughty!! plus they meet loads of new friends and learn new skills n games

not sure what half term is but I rely on 4 day weeks, friends and as many summer programs as I can find for summer vacation. and for spring and winter break is usually various sitters and friends.

my daughteris in a nursery that continues over the half term holidays, i get it paid for by tax credits, well 70% anyway. have a look around at nurseries.

In some emergencies there are churches that offer mommies day out that could keep the kido for you for a while... it is really hard sometimes, I know how ya feel...good luck!

When I'm in a real bind I use relatives but normally I have daycare all ready in place through safe key and my sitter
