I believe there is alien life on other planets, hence the existence of UFOs. (How arrogant for people to think they are the only life in the universe!) I believe they are curious about us, but do not wish to interfere with our way of life.
Religion isn't responsible for teaching about life on other planets ... one has nothing to do with the other.

The term UFO means no more than "unidentified flying object". There are lots of things seen which have not been identified, so by definition, yes, UFOs exist.
But it's a big leap - and not very rational - to jump from there to say that they are extraterrestrial visitors, etc. There is no evidence that they are anything but unusually bright appearances of Venus, and in other cases just a swarm of fireflies.
People who say they have been picked up and transported into space etc. etc. are seriously wacko, or overly hungry for attention. Funny how not one of those people has yet brought back a towel with the name of the Mars Sheraton on it.
I think our culture has a problem with gullibility, resulting from the widespread acceptance of the fallacy that faith is inherently a good thing. If you accept the basic premises of supernatural religion it's not too hard to branch out into other belief systems that are not founded on verifiable evidence. Astrology, for example, has been around longer than civilization itself.

UFO's exist. There's no arguing that.
Whether they are alien craft, time travel machines, or just weather balloons that the person couldn't identify as such is a different matter.
If I throw a frisbee past a neighbor's window, and she sees only a flash of something flying past and cannot identify it, she's seen a UFO. It doesn't matter that it's a frisbee in reality -- a UFO is any unidentified flying object, regardless of its true nature.

"even with all the evidence" but that's untrue, no convincing evidence has been found.
The fact that you saw something is not enough you need more corroboration.
also, strictly speaking a UFO is an unidentified flying object. By definition they do exist but are not necessarily flying saucers or aliens.

I am fascinated by the numerous tv programs with stories and sightings of UFO's. I believe that some of those stories are absolutely true.
Maybe someday our government will release what really happened in Roswell.

I've never seen any myself, nor do I know anyone who has. But, since we know that the millions of stars we see are/can be suns in their own galaxies, I don't see why not. I've seen a bunch of shows where any eye-witness reports are made to be unreliable (for many different reasons including lack of knowledge on the viewers part-nothing intentional) but no other physical evidence.

I believe there is much life in other parts of the universe, I don't believe they have been here because there is no empirical proof.
If you have any empirical proof, pass it on

Well, I'm here waiting for the compelling evidence required by your extraordinary claim.
I guess the wait will be long.
