Every once in a while I'll suddenly feel nauseaus, very warm, my heart beats fast> I manage to make it to the bathroom when I get very weak am unable to stand, i'm laying on the floor soaking wet from sweating. I did get sick once and almost lost control of my bladder. This happens maybe once a month or so. I've heard of weird things happening to people on this medication but was courious if anything like this happens to anyone besides me? Thanks for your in put.

I had the same exact issues on actually almost all of the anti-depressants that I have tried.

There are alternatives as another stated. Go talk to your doctor. I would suggest looking into counseling and more diet and exercise. I know that this may not work for some people. But I stopped taking everything all together and it took me a while but with counseling and exercise I feel much better and much more in control of my life. I will never take those pills again.

Just look into your other options. It may take a while to get back to normal after getting off of these medications but be patient bc its really worth it.

Yes, the side-effects of Zoloft can be pretty bad. You're getting cold sweats - I've never heard of the bladder control issue. Considering the length you've been taking it, and the probability that you'll continue for a while, I'd talk to a pharmacist, or even better - your doctor. There are alternatives.

I'm allergic to Zoloft. It gives me a full body rash. I'm on prozac and switching to celexa. They all have side effects. I get upset stomach, shaky, light headed, eyes sensitive to light, trouble sleeping. It sucks but at least I don't want to kill myself anymore. Tell your Dr about this, they might need to change your medication.
Good Luck : )
