Iran is part of what was one time the great Persian Empire you know your stuff.
Back then the predominant religion of the Persian empire was Zoroastrianism and not Islam
Zoroastrianism is somewhat similar to Christians, unfortunately such beautifully religion has been replaced by radical Islamics.(it is almost extinct.)
In my opinion that explain why the Great Persian people helped Christians, and Iranians (remnants of the Great Persian Empire) are willing to exterminate anyone who disagrees with them
PS.
I am not a religious person

Peace profound

Lets thank the first century - 2nd century iranians / persians, (however they wish to be difined).. For helping early christian churches maintain their existance.

Lets also thank the country of egypt, for allowing the same types of churches to be established.

Christianity would have survived with or without help from countries. But as a christian, I would like to thank those countries involved for allowing early christians to worship as they pleased.

The seeds of Christianity would still have lived on,just as Hitler could never completely wipe out the Jews.

...history is history... today is the first day of the rest of your life. How can you better yourself, "today"...? !!! Let Hollywood do as the please... it won't change a thing... The Sun is still going to come up this morning, "right on time"...
Today... what will you do with "today".... Christianity, Islam, and any "other religion" does not have the corner on the God of Abraham... It's your "relationship" with God, not your "religion"...relax... seek first the Kingdom of God and His reghteousness... Trust in God with all of your heart and not to your own understanding... Peace... Shalom... Allah, Salam-Al-akum... Baruch ha-ba ha Shem, Adonai

I think that they probably helped them. I don't know that it made more than anecdotal differences though, except to the Eastern churches.
I am sure that the ones who did were very grateful, and aided the kings who helped them.

Christianity needed help to survive, and I would like to think that they'd thank them, but I'm not sure if they would.

Perhaps you shouldn't have helped them, then. Thanks for aiding the scourge of mankind!
