She is 19 and she is older than you, but she is acting like she is only 10. She feels that she have to get whatever she wants and that it is your responsibility to make her have what she wants. She is acting like a spoiled brat and a big baby. She is 19 and should learn to act like a woman instead. No, you are not obligated to make her stop crying and you shouldn't listen to her unless she asks you nicely. If you listen to her, she will think she is always right and open the door to more stupid games which will make you life more difficult. So the next time, she acts this way, you should tell her to stop, ignore her and that you are not talking to her until she changes. Afterwards, she will realize that her attitude is not the way to carry on into a sisterhood relationship. Sooner or later, she will change and she will be a more mature person from time to time. It may be hard to ignore your own sister, but she deserves it. It is the only way to make her learn her lessons.

you are not the one in the wrong here, it sounds to me like your older sister is manipulating you and your parents into doing every little thing that she wants. You all need to take a stand against this and stop it now, she sounds very immature for her age and someone needs to tell the little madam to grow up.

Your sister sounds like quite a drama queen. Just stop getting roped into her drama and giving her any excuse to go off and tattle on you. Maybe she'll grow up one of these days! Good luck.
