The nature of God is love. But you do understand God is not an entity that sits on a throne ready to past judgment on humans because he has nothing better to do.

God is a concept that represents the silent power of the universe that man has turned into some ego maniac that wants man to kill in his name for stupid reasons like going to work on a Sunday.

I am Wiccan, and I believe that there is a "universal energy" that defies description, but it holds the universe together, connecting everything to everything else. This is why it is so important to be aware of your actions, because they DO affect everything and everyone around you, much as a single drop on a pond creates ripples all the way across it. The waves may no longer be visible on the other side, but they are sitll there.

I have read and researched that question for that last 20 years. That which strikes me as being the truth is that God is creation. He is everything, the rocks, the sky and all which we can perceive and more. But mostly he is the energy which holds all of matter together. Or you could just simply say that God is pure love and simply wants us to return to him and to share his love.

~~~ aldy ,,, Clarification: You pose a Religious Question by inferring a "God" but will attempt to overcome this bias by using your own example,,,"Nature IS god",,, or as the East calls it,,, Tao. (,,,The nature of the Religious God, however, is strictly dictated by the dogma of the specific religion and dwells in the mind of The Believer)
If there were a God it could only be an underlying (or overarching if you prefer) organizing principle to the structure of the universe. The personal God is a human interpretation of this principle.
He is a triune God who is benevolent, omnipotent and righteous.
I believe God exists outside of his creation yet transcends his creation.
I believe God is greater than us so we must conform to him. It is not logical for God to conform to us.
I believe that God does strange things in the bible intentionally so that we must humble ourselves to believe miracles in front of natural man.
I believe God hides things and speaks in parables precisely so that the rich, educated, and advantaged will not have a better chance of finding “the way” than do the poor, uneducated and disadvantaged.
I believe that if you can get past the first verse in the bible, anything after that is completely believable and this is done by design because God is infinitely clever.
Take the sum of all energy, matter and conscious, and unconscious thought past, present and future, and put that all together, that's "God"
However, God does not have a conscious, nor an image.
God is everything and nothing.
