You must feel so frustrated that you've tryed so many different meds. I know this is hard. You just bought a new home and you're ready to enjoy it. I'm so sorry. Depression can be debilitating sometimes. I was diagnosed over 23 yrs. ago. I have been on so many combo. of meds, that I, too wanted to just give up. I just felt more depressed. I am in therapy also. I don't believe just meds can help. You need support. You need to beable to talk to someone about how much pain you're in.I hope that you are doing that or will get some help.
In regards to your meds. Please don't give up! It's very important that you stay on the meds for a long enough period of time to see if they work. Each med that you are given will be started at a low dose and then raised slowly. It is a slow process. I know that when you're in pain, it's hard to be paitient. You must! Take control of your disorder! Here is a web site that has a forum for depression that may help you. Please work with your Drs. also.

Prescription anti-depressants are not without nasty side effects. Try something natural like: Rosiola Rosacea (Arctic Root) or St Johns Wort.
Rosiola rosacea is more potent that St Johns so you might like to try that first, plus does not have any interaction with prescription drugs/contraception as far as I am aware, wheras St Johns Wort does.
Please talk to your husband. It might be a good idea if you could take up a hobby/course to make some friends who also are housewives. Best wishes. Hope you get this resolved.

I have felt like that too & was told I should be happy & enjoying life, as everything around me was so called fine & normal.
But I did have clinical depression & was put on medication & saw a psycologist. That heped some.
Around the same time I met a friend who took me along to Church. I rededicated my life to him & things really changed. And I found peace & joy. 25 yrs on, I'm still going to Church, Read the Bible & have a quiet time with God
So my highest recommendation, for you Felicia, would be to ask someone you know about Jesus & why they Love the Lord, & how you could get to know Him personally too.
He so Loves you & me ...
If you ever wanted to email me I would be most happy to chat to you.
I will keep you in my prayers.

Go see your doctor and explain whats happening. Maybe you need a different medication. Lots of people go through depression, you are not alone. Hope you get the help you need and feel better!!

One of the things that helps is finding someone that you can help. Make sure you get lots of sunshine....play positive relaxing music ....Ask for help....Have your husband tell you about his day. Get some friends you can call anytime and just talk. Get people to pray for and with you.

You have purpose, even if it's seemingly small, in God's eyes it pleases him. pray to him, his compassion would comfort and lead you to answers that you seek, seek and you shall find, and happy you will be. I am sure your man loves the way you keep the house in order, your cooking. Whatever the case, take it slow, baby steps and work your way back to what pleases you.

Please don't take any of the herbs or drugs that these people are recommending you take...make an appointment with your doctor. You deserve to feel better and you WILL. You may need a new medicine, or a new dose, or something different altogether. Please talk to your doctor.

This too, shall pass. Feel better soon.

hmm...well, we might be beyond anti d's at this point. you might need to seek some professional help. you might need to do some soul-searching to get to the root of the problem. i suppose one might say it's hormones, and that could be; but it could be something deeper. if it continues, if i were you, i'd seek some professional help.

Call your doc and share what's going on. They are there to help. If they dont go to another one. Things always get better.
