you see im in middle school, and i have this crush on this boy that i think is REALLY cute and hes a skater and he hangs out with people i know, but not friends with...and i talk to him a lot but he likes this other girl i know and she is pretty and quite a bit of boys like him and i cant compete with this girl...what should i do to have this boy like me? I mean, hes a skater who thinks hes a "gangster" if that helps you out at all. But I really like this boy..abd i want to go out with him....

In middle school everything feels crazy. Do you really want to have to compete with another girl to get this boy to like you? Because if you do have to compete, don't forget that eventually he'll meet the next girl and you'll end up competing again and again. Just be you and if he likes you, great! If he doesn't, you've got a lot of time to find Mr. Right. So don't rush it.

You can't make a boy like you. He is just a crush you're having right now. You'll have lots of crushes throughout life and you won't be able to "get" them so easily. The only thing you can really do is to assert yourself to talk to him and get to know him. Only then will you know if he's really all you made him out to be.

Sounds like a poser to me. Gangster wannabes are nothing but trouble (and it's even worse that he's a sk8ter with nothing to do).
I'd suggest admiring from afar and avoid any drama that would ensue from his needing to be a "gangster".

So you got to have a thug thissle huh. You can't win it if you don't get in it . The problem is that you are already accepting defeat because of your poor self esteem. If he (thinks) he is a gangsta, it's probably because he has no real self worth as a human being and he has to always put on this show to impress the ladies and keep the homies on his jock. You are so young, damn , what more can i say but to not believe the hype!!!!! Try to find someone who has it more together awright young stuff. keep it pimpin!!!!!!

i would try to hold off on letting him know you like him for now. i would establish myself with some mutually close friends of his. If his friends like you, more than likely he will like you. try to be fun, but don't be too silly or stupid. what is it about this girl that makes her so pretty? is it just her face? if the guy likes her, you can probably tell what he likes about her by looking at her, (that is probably all he did...lol). see what kind of clothes she wears and find a style of your own, but similar to what she wears that he likes, (does she dress feminine, flirty, silly, goth?) Never over do it on the makeup no matter how old you are. Mascara and spot cover up, maybe a smidgen of blush should do it. Try not to be too "puppy doggy" with him, you know, the google eyes...if you stare at him he probably will notice...he has to think that you are above him on some levels (initially to be interested), you will get more respect from everyone if you do not chase a boy, but let them come to you. good luck to you!

I was in ur situation once before, so the best thing I can tell u to do is jus be friends with the person and let them no how u feel. I kno it might be hard to tell ur true feelings,but it has to be done. U should let him kno that ur like available and u want him. If he doesnt wanna go out wit u still o well.That's his lost.

You can't force somebody to like you. Just keep talking to him and being friends with him. Make sure to be yourself! If he does start to like you, you don't want him to like someone you're pretending to be. Ask him to hang out with you sometime, go see a movie or something. Good luck to you, I hope this helps :)

Guys at any age are flattered when girls are interested in them. Just ask him if he'd like to hang out. If he is not interested in you, don't waste your time. Its no fun if you like someone and they don't like you in return.

don't worry about it if he likes you or even thinks of you that way he will come to you sooner or later. Don't rock the boat, if friends is what you are to be than so be it but don't push.
