Sorry about that, I want four different names for each place. I was thinking the setting would be in Montana, and the names I would like to sound mysterious and scary. Oh, and the village is set in a valley far from civilization, and the woods surround it. And it's very small.

What country are you setting it in? Merry Olde England? Or the USA? That will affect the credibility of the names.

I think Summersville would be a good name, sounds friendly and honest, summer is a nice season, yet dark things can lurk there. Using a last name, such as Sheldon, for the name of the village is good, too, since towns are often named after famous people or leading citizens. I used to live on Sheldon Avenue and there's something about that name that just seemed right to use it in a story sometime.

The woods or creek should have a "harmless" name with ominous tones like "Dyson Creek." Think about it, Dyson is basically "die" and "son."

Ack! I just looked at your name in my list of questions that I've answered and only now did I realize that your name has the word "summer" in it! LOL! OK, try "Mayfair" for the village or "Fairtown." Again, those are names that sound friendly and honest.

From your question, I'm not sure if you want one name to fit all, or four different names.
