I really want twists, but don't know where to start!

I want the kind that I can just untwist and take out in a few months or so. Not locked in or knotted.

Anyone know a good site or have any advice on how to go about getting this. BTW: my hair is permed. I've been getting perms for years. My hair is no way near natural. Will this be a problem? Cause I want the twists so my hair can grow faster, and I don't want to have to cut my hair first to get the twists.

Any advice (not rude) is welcome!

Thank you in advance!

hey sweetie, you can just part your hair in sections (just like you would for single braids) and two-straind twist them all the way down. these you can take out a few days until about 3 weeks and you will get that crimpy curly look. the bigger the twist the wavier they strands; the smaller that tighterthe curl.

you really dont have to be worried about your hair locking up since you have a perm. but honestly, it wont look as good if you dont have natural hair because the ends will be straight and it will unravel. with natural hair, our hair curls at the end just when you apply pomade to the ends..its easier.

i hope this helps!
