it never fails....everytime i see a nice looking guy, his girlfriend (if he has one) is always either kinda ugly or funny looking. why is this? how come I always see ugly guys approaching really pretty girls? I NEVER see cute guys approaching really pretty girls, and if they do, they just use them for sex or something and play them really bad..why is this?

because eventually you realize judging potential mates is based a lot more on other things besides looks-
Everyone has a different opinion of what is beautiful to them and attractive vs what is ugly and unatrractive to them.
Sometimes a person you didnt think was anything special- can suddenly become very beautiful in your eyes once you really get to know them.
It can also be for control. "listen baby, I dont need you-- i can have girl 10x better looking than you.. so do this.. or else ill leave you"
Some people don't like to date people who everyone and their brother is trying to hit on- because they are insecure and feel threatened by all the attention (ie think that at any second they will leave for someone else) that their partner gets.
the more mature you get- the less emphasis you put on outter beauty.

Well, cute guys may be avoiding cute girls.. They've probably already had a lot of experience being with them and opt to deal with more 'normal' women. And 'not so cute' guys may be attracted to cute girls because they don't know better yet ;).
I mean, I'm sorry to say, but there aren't many cute women who are down to earth. Most cute women have been spoiled by their parents, and they have an incredible sense of unearned entitlement. They've come to expect to be treated in certain ways by certain people and in their eyes, the world is already lined up in some hierarchy that only exists in their minds.
Have you read the craigslist ads that say something like 'amazingly cute girl. Lets go on a vacation to South America, you pay.' The world doesn't work like that. Because most men, even the 'cute' ones have to work their way up in the world they probably don't feel that same sense of entitlement as 'cute women'. And therefore, do not identify with that way of thinking or buy into it. Of course, not all women are this way, but because many are, it spoils the image for everyone.

cute guys like ugly girls because they mgiht be the ones who have the low self esteem, or it's a joke kinda thing.
ugly guys liking cute girls, well i think it's cuz the guys are ugly and they might think they have a chance with a cutie.
it sucks at both ends anyway. for the ugly guy and the ugly girl.

Part of it is that looks aren't that important--if you find someone you like to spend time with, its easy to overlook some junk in the trunk or a goofy nose. In time, sometimes you'll actually like (rather than not mind) some ugliness.
Also, pretty people are usually the chasees, not the chasers. A great looking guy is going to have women come up and talk to him, so he never needs to get up the courage and wits to start a conversation out of thin air. Same for the great looking girl. They'll always have people trying to meet them, so they don't have to try to meet anyone. Its so much easier to just meet a friend of a friend and go out with her.

not everybody see's things the same! everyone has a different perception of what is pretty or ugly or weird...Like, maybe you think you are pretty but someone else thinks you are ugly... you can both be right because it is just the way you see each other...
Some people don't even notice looks that much... Like a lot of really pretty girls are full of themselves and that turns guys off and the same vice versa...Like, you kinda sound like you are one of those pretty self centered girls.

I think from a girls perspective this can be really frustrating, so I asked my boyfriend. He told me that some girls who are very pretty, guys just feel intimidated by them or that they only want them for sex. Also he said that alot of pretty girls are extremely stuck up and that "uglier" girls tend to have a more level shoulder and are easier to talk to and have a better personality. But I am not sure!! but good question

Ok, yeah right, we all hope that was the answer, and I'm sure it is in some cases. although most of the cases I've seen it's because the ungly chick has some self esteem issues and so it's easire for the guy to control them..sad but true.

well i am a hotty i was in pageants and i did some modeling
and my guy is cute he isn't the best looking but he is really hot
but I'm not attracted to how guys look i am attracted to who they are inside
maybe those ugly people have great personalities

a cute guy with an ugly girl means he is probably very insecure which prevents him from approaching a cute girl that's probably so secure and confident she'll think he's too weak for her and then make him feel even worse about himself by insulting, rejecting, dumping, and/or cheating on him. and for a good looking guy who's probably expected to be perfect and get whatever he wants with no problems, that can be his worst nightmare. so instead he goes for an ugly girl which is already a safe bet because what ugly girl wouldnt want a cute guy? other reasons why he would continue to be with the ugly girl is because he knows he can control her since she's probably even more insecure than him due to her looks, he can treat her like crap because she probably doesnt feel worthy of respect, he can make her feel inferior and priveleged to be with a guy like him because he showed an interest in her despite her looks when he could have chosen a cute girl, he can make her think she'll never get a better guy than him unless he's ugly like her, he can use her and cheat on her with a cute girl knowing she wont leave as long as he continues to keep her around, and when he's over her he can then dump her without feeling too bad because she wasnt considered a "trophy" wife/girlfriend by society's standards anyway...and no matter what, he is always all about HIM and HIS reputation. i would bet that for every cute guy sleeping around with a cute girl and never commiting, he's got an ugly girl that he's continued with for years because she does what every pretty girl wont...put up and shut up...and probably in the hopes that when he gets older and the looks begin to fade he'll realize she's the one, then finally marry her and treat her like a queen for all those years he was an a**hole. and believe me, it DOES happen...and all the time. ever wonder how an ugly girl got a cute guy to marry her and have his kids over choosing a hot wife instead? ask her about the way he treated her before he fnally proposed, which was probably right around the time she was ready to give up and leave him for good. and just to seal the deal, he probably made sure she was pregnant before the wedding so she wouldnt try break off the engagement or stand him up at the altar.
as for the ugly guy approaching the cute girl...well he knows all about the cute guy and the ugly girl thing and is just hoping the cute girl will realize it, give up on the cute guy forever, and then go for the ugly one that will always treat her better than any guy ever could.
