Best to visit/call in an INDEPENDENT Broker!!!

Their agenda differ from the TIED Advisers :-)

Check out the life insurance section at www.moneysupermarket.com

If still unsure then contact an IFA or shop around yourself on the internet. Make sure of the small print and that you are getting the cover you think.

Try not to get too distracted with the extras such as gift card and presents, it the contract that matters.

Visit and Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The ywill explain all the different types available and help you pick the best one.

Ignore the cheap offers and free gifts they are just a gimmick.

You don't have to take the IFA advice but you can use it to refine your own search.

Remeber the cheapest is not always the best.

It depeneds on what you want, if you want critical illness and waiver it can be expensive no matter where you go.

I have just had standard cover for 24 years, level term for £150k and it costs me £10 a month with L&G - considering I am a smoker that is great!

I got my quote from www.theidol.co.uk which will tell you about loads. Also my £10 is guaranteed for the next 24 years too so will never increase. It also covers terminal illness.

Good luck!

buy term and invest the difference. the point of life insurance is to replace your income. so you may need lots of coverage now. later on in life, as your investments grow and you have less financial obligations, you may not need as much life insurance or probably don't need it at all. if you do need it when the level term expires, you can exchange it to a smaller term policy or change the face amount.
