Not necessary to have a political pedigree to participate ... I'm not interested in attacking any posters.

I didn't want titles. I unexpectedly got them. On the day I posted the question, I felt I just crawled out of some y!a 'war trench' and I wondered if out of all that hostility if any of the ppl even voted?

My question is do you do anything politically or social issues related outside of Y!A?

None of those ppl from that time frame have responded to the questions here, although some have sent me emails.

I appreciate your participation.

Kevin A. Been there, done that. I moved to a quaint rural area with my own business and did well financially, but had the same situation as you. I had a child in the school system and just couldn't handle him being exposed to that, so I sold it and moved. Hang in there! You remind me that freedom does not mean perfection -- not by a long shot.

Thanks to Not Ad- many feel as you do, regardless of the party affiliation. Hard to agree 100%. Thanks for answering.

I am unaffiliated and I help my republican cousin in all his political endeavors.
He is very active in the local politics including the local school board and he has plans to run for mayor.
I don't know why I help him, in the last 6 years, I have got to the point that I despise republicans.
But I know that my cousin is a good man, so I continue to help him.

I'm at work. It's my business of 10 years now. You are right, I don't take any political actions on my local government but that's only because my local government has been proved so very corrupt. I used to be in law enforcement years ago but after finding out that my superiors were breaking the law, I quit and the more I dug into the corruption of the local gov. I realized I could do nothing about it and it seemed that I was the only one that was even trying. You see, I can't work with a criminal element and most al of the local gov. is criminal.

So I stick to my own business (I'm now too old to do anything) and I look forward to the day I can get out of this place and go to where can live the rest of my life in peace and quite.

Don't believe in titles, just a way to create a contest.

Closer to the republicans but I don't agree with them on everything.
