no it's not like a wig. basically in lay-men's terms, they are gluing long hair to your original hair. yes, it is used to make your hair thicker and longer. but when you take it off, it makes your hair more damaged: thinner and shorter. my advice, don't do it. plus, by the way you talk, you sound too young. so just be yourself.

depending on if you use real or fake hair depends on the price.

Hair extensions...sometimes are really cheap...and some are really expensive. it depends how thick you want your hair. Go to a local hair salon that you like a lot and ask them......

Yes, they make very very very very very thick hair. Hair extensions are fake hair they weave into your hair.

yea you can use it to make your hair thicker...hair extensions is hair that you sewing in to you hair..it makes the hair appear thicker and if u have short hair it can make ur hair look long or u can keep it short

i naturally have thick hair and i had hair extensions put in and it felt like i had a 20lb. dumb bell sitting on my head and it was choppy looking and it cost me $250 and when i took the extensions out my hair was about 5x thinner than my original hair. its not a wig, its just real hair that has been weaved together.

I I have very thin hair after my pregnancy. I found that Jessica simpsons hair do extension look great and are very affordable. If you google jessica simpson hair do you will find where to purchase them (85.00) or what I did was bought them on ebay and they are cheaper (60.00) and are authentic. You will love them. you can cut highlight and wash. There is no messy glue involved and takes minutes to put on. There are a few problems with this . It only hold up for 3 months, but if you wanted to invest in good hair there is human hair available in her line too 299.00. Make sure you find the right color for you before purchasing, they have color swatches they can mail you to make a perfect match. Hope this helps

There are many different methods of hair extensions , weave , fusion and so on , one method is not for all for it is not one size fits all , it depends on your hair. Now , if your hair is so thin you can see the scalp then hair extensions most likely won't work for you , but if it is not that thin hair extensions would be a good call and if proper placement is used and a lic's experienced hairdresser/image consultant be sure and check them out ask how many heads they have done and see photo's BUT if they only do ONE method beware like I said one method is not for all.But without seeing your hair I can not tell you if extensions are for you. They can be very spendy and high maintenance, but are worth it .

Hair extensions attach to your hair to make it look longer or thicker. There are many differnt ways to attach them : glue, keratin bonding, and sewing them in. I like the Keratin Bonds the best. They are differnt from a wig because they are attached to your hair. The last anywhere between 1-6 months depending how they are attached and how they are cared for.

Do a google image search and you can find TONS of pictures.

Hair extensions are meant for people who want thicker or longer hair, it can be done in many different ways, but in my opinion the best way is when they braid tiny braids in sections of your hair and then add the extensions by sewing them on with tread, don't worry it sewn to the braid no to u. Sorry I have no picture, but i hope this helps.

Hi I have heard that hair ex are beautiful but I have also heard that after a few days your scalp starts to Itch real bad,. If you can get past the itching for a week you should be fine. I think its the moister that builds up on the scalp which causes your hair to smell real bad too. I have seen girl hair fall out after removing them also. Really think about it!!!

hair extensions are just that.they are pieces of hair attached to your own hair to make it longer.
