Any suggestions for buying a brand new car from a dealership and getting the very best deal possible?

find an add for the type of car you want in the paper that shows how much of a discount they offer. Like a car with a MSRP of 21,750 you can buy at our place for 19,750. Ask them to break down the discounts for the car. There may be a $1000 cash back offer, a dealer discount of $500 and a college grad discount of $500. that's $2000 that should apply to all the cars of the same kind. Expect about 10% off or more depending on the make of the car.

Find a dealer with a good reputation in your area. Check with the better business bureau. If you feel good about the dealer, feel comfortable with your salesperson and like the car, then you got a good deal. Don't trust internet pricing. Prices vary by region and market conditions. Just find the car you want and buy it.

its not easy so be very careful. make sure u go in knowing what kind of car u want cuz they will try to get u into something more expensive. dont b afraid to tell them what price u want & if they dont like it go somewhere else cuz believe me its their job to take ur money/business. i personally looked at 3 dealers before i bought & got a pretty good deal on an 07, plus i got the price i wanted. its ur money so make sure u stay in ur range & buy what u want not what they r willing to sell to u! good luck!!!

Have your financing already lined up so that you don't have to depend on the dealership to finance your car. It's like having cash. Don't be afraid to walk away either.

Get a quote from Carmax online then go to dealer and tell them the quote and they will always beat it. And don't be afraid to walk out and come back later.
