Would a girl like a boy she could think doesn't like her anymore?

I'm asking if a girl doesn't like me and I start ignoring her, and I notice she'll start paying more attention to me could she want to be my friend again. Recently, she started watching me when I'm ALONE and I sneak a look at her through the corner of my eyes without moving my head, appearing to ignore her. Usually, she doesn't look at me unless I'm talking to another girl. Most of the time she'll say hi back if I say hi. She'll stand in the lunch line next to mine, facing me, and sneak glances at me. I've caught her and my friend told me she has when I wasn't looking. She'll sit at a table where she'll sneak more looks at me. Are there any signs or signals she could give off to show that she wants to talk to me or that she wants me to go talk to her? (stop here, but the details below fully explain the situation)

4 months into the year 2006 (we were both 16) we were talking until I made a mistake. She told me she was falling in love with someone else (she still talks to him but she's never seriously dated him and she's single) assuming I wouldn't say anything and I told a friend assuming he wouldn't say anything because I needed to talk to someone because I fell in love with her. I didn't know not to say anything or I wouldn't have. He said something about it around her and she got mad at me. She ignored me for a week, then when I went to her she talked to me as if uninterested in what I had to say. She never liked me the same way I liked her (she only liked me as a friend) but she doesn't know that I started to fall in love with her. I gave her a month and a half space. When I talked to her, it was normal until I aked if she was still mad at me, she said no, she just didn't want to talk to me anymore. It's been 8 months since then we haven't talked. I think she might miss me like I miss her.

You are obsessing bro! Stop it! Talk to her. Do something. Grow a pair. I told you in my last answer that I've obsessed over a girl before, and yes, I posted twenty questions in 5 days about her. Most of the questions I asked were the same. Stop looking for reassurance on here. Get up, get out, and make things happen bro. Believe in yourself. Get this problem nipped in the bud because if you don't, it's going to eat at you. You need to come to the point where you accept the fact that you will either be in this woman's life, or you won't. No matter what the outcome, be happy with life. You have a roof over your head, you seem like you have a good head on your shoulders judging by the way you write, and you obviously are in tune with your emotions. Good luck man. Everything you mentioned were all tell-tale signs that she wanted to speak to you. chances are since you were the one ignoring her she figures that you reeeeally dont like her that much. I suggest making the first move because it might be awhile before she decides to make it.
