Definately the first love is special cuz it's your first love. It's like having your first kiss, or your first car, or your first day of college. But does it last forever? I think we would like to think so but I don't think it actually does. People change and usually when people first fall in love they are quite young. The younger you are, the more you will change and the more your partner will change. Unless you two both change at the same pace, often people realize they are in different places. Never force love (that's what I did and now I'm stuck in a relationship that I shoulda ended 5 years ago).

Well, I would say that you will always have some sort of feelings for your first love. I know I will always care about my first love. Although he had hurt me in so many different ways I know that I will always care about him to an extent. I know that we would never be together again....cause he did too many negative things to me. But, no matter what I can say I did love the guy and I know that he will always have that special spot in my heart. It is ok to love someone that does not mean you are still "in" love with them or have to be with that person!!

You will always remember your first love, but it doesnt always last forever. You may want it to right now, but later on you may be thankful for your new love that's even better.
