I call them purple onions. I figure if I'm cooking them then I'm callin' em' whatever I want. : )

Red onions are Red.
You see purple?
Hmmm.... sounds like a serious medical condition when you see purple instead of red. Make me cry just thinking about it. You should see a doctor, immediately. Good luck and brace yourself for the answer.

i really not know but i think its bcuz they r a really dark shade of red but they look purple
