ComputerNoises, I read for the joy it brings me, and no other reason. This question was not meant in a mean way at all.

They must not pay attention to movies either.

My hair is black, my glasses are rectangular and purple, and I have a massive book collection, which happens to include everything Douglas Adams wrote. And yes, I happen to think little of people who don't bother to read. They should be forced to read Fahrenheit 451 and 1984, just so they understand how they are assisting the devolution of our society.

Shockingly, yes. This shouldn't be surprising because people read books about sky fairies and believe them, but I am shocked each time. You're being very nice. Douglas Adams should be required reading to live.

Yes, unfortunately... there are people who don't like to read. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. But I have a HUGE vocabulary, because I love to read. And reading is a good way to escape from BS around you sometimes. Some people that have answered seem to take offense at the slightest mention of the fact that they rarely read. Farbeit from me to say that they are inferior to me for it. But in debate, and conversation, it does tend to sound like I think that. I don't. So I know where you're coming from. *makes the two-fingers-toward-my-eyes-two-fingers-toward-your-eyes motion*

DON'T PANIC.

Im sure they exist - but people who've read the Guide don't need to be concerned with them. You'll be fine as long as you know where your towel is.
