I need help with a Greek word in the New Testament...?

Question

1 Thessalonians 4:17 contains the phrase (in English)
"...to meet the Lord in the air."
What is the Greek word which is here being translated as "meet"?
I know what the word looks like in Greek, but I don't know how to read Greek, so what I need is how to pronounce it (in English letters).

I'm sure people will post from the Blue letter Bible.com cuz they are to lazy to learn Greek for themselves. But I learned Greek last year so I'll take a look in the Greek NT.....

Oye that is a large verse."apantesin" in the English letters, it meant to "meet" or "encounter"

Greek is ἀπάντησις / apantēsis

simply means "meet"

also used in Matthew 25:6 and Acts 28:16

It means "to meet" or "encounter".
Comes from the word "apantao" which means "to meet with".
