Yes, I would advise against giving your dog any type of food that isn't meant for dogs. It can make them sick.

Cheddar cheese is not good for the dog.
I give mine pure shredded American cheese mixed in with her wet food once a week. and she has never gotten sick or thrown up over it.... been doing this since she was 5 months old - now 2 yrs. And she is a Border Collie

How much did you feed her? i use cheddar all the time as a training treat with no upset stomach on any of my dogs.

i would suggest not giving ur dog any type of dairy product. cheese will make ur dog sick because their digestive tracts just aren't made for dairy.

sum dogs r different than others, it mainly depends on the dogs digestive tract.
