Hi, i am 22 and it started with swelling in the top and bottom lips when i wake up in the morning, but now i have swelling in my cheeks and around my eyes. it goes bright red when it is swollen. but does not hurt and i have no teeth problems. it is not swollen all the time but nothing seems to set it off either. does anyone have any ideas?

IF you are on medication, check the leaflet pertaining to side effects. I was on tablets for high blood pressure and my face swelled to such an extent that my eyelids were locked. Once I had my medication changed, things went back to normal.

hi it could be an infection in your sinuses, should get the doc to check it out for you and he might give you antibiotics because that's what i had and it went away in about a week and that was 2 years ago and it has not come back,

Could be an allergic reaction- do you use perfumed soap powder, toiletries, etc? See your GP

maybe you have eaten something at dinner which you had developed an allergic reaction..remember waht you had for dinner..or maybe you had insect bites that caused you face to swell. Have you taken any medications lately or before going to bed? that may be one reason.. Better seek medical help asap for further management

I would see your gp. could be an allergy related problem.
