Is this normal?

**I brought him to the vet after he did it the first time. The vet told me that he had a senior moment -- and we all do it when we get to be that age.**

Check with your vet. He may be losing control due to old age.

I think that you are going to run into more old age type problems with your dog at his advanced age. since it is time for spring check ups this would be an appropriate time to discuss the situation with your vet

Many dogs suffer from incontinence due to old age. But I would talk with your vet to be sure. They make diapers for dogs of all sizes.

Age can cause this, so can bladder infection, and some dogs that are epileptic can have little seizures and pee during sleep. A vet trip is in order.
