Does anyone have any suggestions for books or websites that include simple but healthy meals for people who are culinary idiots (and fussy ones at that)? A Man a Can and a Plan is okay, but not exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks!

How about a night school course in basic cooking. It costs about the same as a good cookbook, and can give you the hands-on practise you need.

And you also get to eat whatever you cook during the evening, at the end!

why not learn to cook? I am always dumbfounded when someone says they can't. Its easy if you learn some basic techniques. My 12 year old daughter can cook anything from a basic egg, to homemade bread and homemade cheese. Being fussy, I would think it would be even more important to learn to cook. Do you like the idea that strangers in factories are preparing your foods? Watch some cooking shows, or buy a beginner cookbook.

I would recommend buying a CROCK POT and a crock pot cook book.

Here's an easy, healthy, hearty recipe: Brown some ground beef/turkey in a skillet. Drain, then put in pot. Add a can of mixed veggies and a can of stewed tomatoes. Add some salt, pepper and chili powder. Cook on low for about 6 hours. Easy!! And you can eat off it for days!

try
www.drdouhgal.com

Or you could try Dr. LeslieVanRomer's advice and just do the 10 + 10 plan - truly a no brainer diet...
Simply eat fresh 10 raw fruits & 10 veggies, a day with whole grains (ie brown rice, lentils etc) added in for good measure
