I have been told that I blush if something rude is said..... Now I am 29.... and have been around so not naive .... but why do i still blush....

Oh, I feel your pain....I blush so easily. It could be something embarassing or a compliment or if I get really mad - I turn red as a beet. It drives me crazy since I can't control it and then I get even more embarassed...... not sure what advice to give you except for if you are a guy, blushing is sort of cute so don't worry about it. Most people aren't turned off by it since it is such an honest and uncontrollable reaction in a world where we try to hide all our emotions...it's refreshing.

i still blush like hell and i am 18.
what i told myself before was that i blushed but i was confident and didnt know what was going on but the truth is now i dont think about blushing and i do it much much less.
as hard as it sounds it is a confidence issue most of the time unless uhvae a skin condition and btw i have pale skin so yes for us white people it's more common.
iknow it's debilitating but dont let it be!!!!!!!!!!! listen to me i promise get over it and itll be ok!!! xx good luck and be cool

I blush easily too. There is not really much you can do. You can try to think of something else but most of the time that it ends up happening it's unexpected so their is really no way to stop it.

Me too and i am 26.
Especially when people talk about sex! I have no problem talking about it but I blush!!
I blush when I am the center of attention.
I blush if I get embarassed over something.
It's just the way we are. I guess we just have to accept it!

hey join the club i am exactly the same if people say something in the slightest remark of sex i go crimson an then get comments of hey i dont need brake lights il just stick you in the back window lol which of course makes me blush even more

Me too! I find it so annoying!! Especially at work when I'm trying to be taken seriously! Anyway, I asked a question about it a couple of months ago and had some good answers. Seems a lot of people have the same problem!
