Everyday for a week i've been doing 8 minutes abs once in the morning and once at night. Has anyone tried this and had good results? and does anyone know about how many calories 8 minute abs burns?

if you have fat on your stomach then you are not going to see any abs. You have to do Cardio to get rid of the fat. 5-6 days a week for 45-60 minutes and you will start sheding that fat.

first of all you do not work the same muscle group everyday. Never you need to split them up. And to get abs it comes with alot more than just doing 8 min abs. You need you eat healthy combined with cardio. Those are some tips try working your whole body while still doing abs but not every day by no means. To get abs noticable = healthy diet,cardio etc.

I used to do 8 minute abs until I found 7 minute abs. Its much better, that extra minute I save has changed my life.

I can say though that at only 7 or 8 minutes you aren't burning many calories.

You shouldn't work your abs twice a day. It is like any other muscle and should only be worked every other day. Any thing will work if you do it consistently and diet to loose fat. Doing ab exercises alone won't make you loose weight.

Due to the fact that you are doing that twice per day you are really doing 16 minute abs.

i hope you are also doing some cardios and concentrating on other parts of the body, spot reducing is possible only with overall body conditioning and sensible diet, check out for more info
