ok, heres what I think...theres a god and a goddess that are embodied by us all, plus many other individual gods and goddesses which are our 'cooperative beings' but not rulers. After we die, our body is done because its mission was done, our spirit stays with every family member, friend, & person we made a difference to, and our soul goes back with the gods and goddesses until it picks another body, which these gods/God & goddesses/Goddess keep track of which new bodies are available for entrance(aka newly conceived babies). I also believe that everything that ever could happen, will happen, would happen, or should happen is all happening at once but all we can focus on is our own personal here & now(thats why we only use 10% of our brain, the other 90% is busy w/ other stuff we're not even conscious of). I also believe ALL forms of murder are bad. What I need to know is...please don't tell me I'm crazy I get enough of that from my mom....what is the NAME of the religion or spiritual

path this thinking is most closest to? And do they have any books or churches? Also please no 'Jesus is Lord & Savior, only way to heaven' rants. Thanks SO much. (=

also, I should add that I don't believe in the 'Good Book' as anything more than just that...a good...book. And I strongly believe in what goes around comes around & most versions of the golden rule, so it may or may not be relevant but I'm seriously considering veganism. Thanks so much. Also, the resources already given have been wonderful. Keep it comin! (=

Although I am Buddhists
I don't think you are crazy either.
What you describe sounds a lot like
Celtic wiccanism/ cosmology.
A couple books to help you on this path if
you are serious about it are: " The White Goddess",
" How the Irish saved Civilization" and the " 21 lessons
of Merlin". The last one is more Druidism but it is
related to Celtic Wicca.

Also you may want to read some books by Milan Kundera:
"Immortality", The Unbearable Lightness of Being" and
the Book of Laughter and Forgetting ". He deals with
this time theory that you're talking about. In one work
he speaks of the theory of eternal return. This is the idea
that all major events in history would recur again in a
slightly different fashion in a different part of the world
or another universe. I think this may intrigue you.
Anyway, good luck.

You're not crazy! That's the basis of many of the Eastern European pre-Chr_stian beliefs. Nowadays most folks just use the term p_gan.
You can spend decades learning the nuances of each regions minor differences.

I do not know what religion that would be, but it sounds like what every burnt-out drug addict seems to come up with. Coincidentally, this seems to be the religion being formed on the popular late-night mystery show called "Coast to Coast AM". So there is probably something behind it, probably some demon. Maybe it is a form of satanism; it does have a lot of components of traditional witchcraft (especially the eastern style, Philippines perhaps?) mixed with New Age (which is the old Hinduism like beliefs), but overall it just seems to be a bowl of mixed up nonsense.

Sounds like feminist (or Dianic) wicca. As opposed to basic wicca.

Which makes Fr. K quite right because it comes specifically from a lady named Z (zsuzsanna). Budapest - who lives right here in California, not far from me, and started the movment.

I actually know her. She does Goddess Fest every other year.

The idea that we use 10% of our brain is an urban legend

The rest of your concept isn't any crazier than mainstream ideas, in fact more plausible
