“Antichrist” means “against (or instead of) Christ.”
The term refers to all who oppose or lyingly claim to be either the Christ, or, his representatives, In its broadest sense.

Jesus himself said:
“He that is not on my side is against me [or is antichrist];
he that does not gather with me scatters.”--Luke 11:23.

The word “antichrist” applies to:

all who deny what the Bible teaches about Jesus Christ,
all who oppose his Kingdom, and
all who mistreat / persecute his followers.

It includes individuals, organizations, and nations
that falsely claim to represent Christ, or,
that improperly ascribe to themselves the role of Messiah
by presumptuously promising to achieve what only Christ can do ... bring about true peace and security.

When it says antichrists, it means people leading others away from the Bible -- that is to say, not NWT or the Book of Mormon -- but THE Antichrist will be one man -- or woman. I thought Kofi Annan was the Antichrist, cuz he ain't all "Let's help the world". He was empowered by Satan -- like Nebuchadnezzar -- but he wasn't the guy to look out for.

Anti is against so an antichrist are those against Christ, His redeeming blood, His Diety & His Resurrection.

The talked about one Antichrist is also the abomination of desolation, man of lawlessness, man of wasting/perdition. The one who claims to be as good as God & stands in the temple declairing He's God and disrespects women. He will cut off the heads of those who refuse to bow to the beast or take its mark.

Then also, the beast & false prophet are antichrists. Both of them. And those who take the mark 666 & bow to the beast are antichrist.

Antichrist doctrine are those religious books that take away of the power of Christ redeeming Blood, or take away from Christ Diety, etc...

He is just one man but he will have the cooperation of all institutions. By many antichrists it means a number of people claiming to be Jesus. Not everyone who cooperates is a antichrist.

The antichrist is directly related to the downward spiral of mankind as a race of people who choose to exercise their free will without asking for guidance of it fron The Almighty and Most Merciful One.

If you want to get technical, anyone who isn't Christian is the Antichrist. The belief among a lot of Christians is if you are not believing he is the Savior then you are against him completely. Looks like multiple according to the passages you've put up.

You're using the NWT... Good. I gave this talk recently myself, and it sounds like you did too.

The anti-Christ can be one person or a group of people who either go directly against Christ or who put themselves in place of Christ. Haile Selassie would probably qualify as one. He's the late Emperor of Ethiopia, and is worshipped by the Rastafarians. They even go as far as to call him Jah, which is short for Jehovah.

When people mention THE Antichrist, they are referring to the man of perdition. Read the book of Daniel and Revelations for the answer you are seeking.
