I believe that there have been times when God has manifest himself with visible signs when people have been in real need and it can help them. Perhaps his appearance on a wall has been to reach and reassure a certain person or persons).
But when his "image" is on a grilled cheese sandwich that gets sold on ebay to a casino that wants to use it to attract more people in their house of sin to they can steal their money and ruin their lives, that is not a real appearance by God.
Some have been real. Some have been "happenstance" like the face on Mars. Some have been ridiculous like the grilled cheese. And some have probably been used by satan to trick people away from a real faith or prayer to God.

As a Catholic, I admit that the Church has approved a number of apparitions of Mary. Those apparitions have been checked out very carefully. There are still many very popular apparitions that have not passed the Church's scrutiny, although they draw thousands of pilgrims annually. As for Mary popping up in people's breakfast cereal, handbags, grilled cheese sandwiches and rooftops, I would tend to remain skeptical until these events are fully investigated and analyzed, preferably by a united force of religion and science. I don't want to cut down anybody who feels that they've truly had a deep religious experience after seeing the Blessed Virgin on a potato chip, because that might actually be meaningful to them personally, but I also retain the right to want more solid evidence.

only begotten Son in a Torilla bark of a tree

or efforts by fussing at the Jewish Hiarchy for wanting
to see signs and wonders 1Cor 1:22 then in
2THES 2:8,9 ...that Wicked be revealed .. and shall destroy with the brightness of His mouth 9 Even hm,whose coming is after the working of satan with all power and signs and lying wonders

I belive that you have to become focused strictly on God's word don't allow media or television shows to sway your faith or have apparitions of things that do not exist. Let me ask you a question: What are some ways the devil can communicate with you? You have never seen a big hairy monster with a pitchfork, so he has to use the media, porn, violent video games. What you put in is what you get out. If you allow yourself to watch horror films, that may cause you to be fearful.....

I think the false image of Jesus is one satan tries to lead Gods children astray.
Why would Mary appear in a chip anyway? Does Jesus really have to wait for a Doritos to be seen? It makes no sense to me.
In NO WAY is seeing an image in a chip holy.

I cannot imagine God, or anything holy, appearing to people in this manner under any circumstances. It makes no sense, has no purpose, and there are certainly much better ways to get the job done. There is nothing like this in the Bible.
Therefore I believe that all of it is trickery, of one kind or another. It could be people fooling themselves, wishing to believe it, and that is alright by me as long as it does no harm to anyone. But it could also be of human origins, deceit being done to collect on the gullible. Or it could even be real, supernatural, satanic magic, being used to lead many to anything else, but to God.
Having said all that, I do believe that God can do anything He wants to and communicate to us individually in whatever way is necessary in order for us to believe the truth. But I do not believe that this happens as signs or wonders, but rather only to those people who are genuinely seeking after God and the real truth. If they are doing this, then they are more than likely reading the bible trying to understand what God is saying than looking at cheese sandwiches for images of Jesus.
I honestly believe that much of these things cross the line and are directly blasphemous. This is absolutely true in the images and appearances of the "Virgin Mary." These things are done to lead unbelievers away from God and to make people who believe in these things to look foolish. Also it is to help people believe that there is something righteous going on when it reality it is just a smoke screen to keep people from seeing the real miracle, which is the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ who is God come in the flesh.
The devil does not need to be there, in disguise, if he has so many ready and willing to do his work for him. God's messages are in His Word and through the Holy Spirit who lives in us. A true sign, a true miracle will lead people to God and the truth, to believing and learning, knowing and loving the Word of God.

I don't doubt that many see apparitions of the like. But I also think that on YouTube there are bound to be a lot of doctored videos. I wouldn't trust YouTube to be a valid source for evidence of these things. No more than Weekly World News.

If it shows up on youtube, it's probably not Jesus. I think that it's the devil causing these, and laughing at the people who think that their omlette shaped like mary is divine intervention. I know where to look for God, in my heart, not on my plate.

I would put that stuff under Deuteronomy 18:10-12
10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12 For all who do these things are an abomination to the LORD, and because of these abominations the LORD your God drives them out from before you.

These are merely wishful thinking on the part of persons. God would not be so demeaning as to appear as you describe. A better explanation is random chaos sometimes appearing as something structured.
