Who hangs around your baby that talks a lot of slang? Or watches a lot of tv (i.e. videos). If he has an older brother or cousin or something or even his dad, trust that is where he got it from. And getting all in someone's mouth like Polydent means just that!!! Giving someone a kiss.....Im sure ur son doesn't realize or understand. Then again maybe he does cuz he used the term in the correct context. Just be carful.

He probably heard it on the radio or TV be careful of what your son is picking up if you say that phrase it means a sexual connation and this is vulgar. Dont encourage your son to be allowed to talk like this someday he will have a gifrlfriend a fiance and then a wife and speech needs to be proper and sincere. No woman in thier right mind would let a man talk to her with that phrase your son used.

Ok, I have heard this one befor and it is definatly sexual. It means that he is going to recieve oral sex and she is going to hold onto his ummm.. well you know,as tight as polident will stick. Someone close to him said this to him or around him. Explain to him that this is wrong and its should not be said. Whoever said this should learn to watch what they say around a child so young. They are like sponges, they take in everything. Also explian to him that some adults say things that are not always right and ask him if he knows what it means. He may have made his own defination on it and thinks its ok. He is old enough to talk to about good and bad so give it a try, just dont over do it. Good luck!

Wow. To me, that phrase sounds like something more on the sexual side...where would he hear something like that? Do you have older children in the house or does he go to pre-school? Perhaps he picked up something like that from a classmate who might have older siblings...children pick up on everything, even if they don't necessarily know what it means.

I really don't know how to go about this situation as he doesn't understand what he's saying other then telling him what he said wasn't nice and to not repeat it or not say things he doesn't understand. Did you ask him "What does that mean?"

You should ask him where he heard that phrase and say something to either the person, parent of a child he might play with or maybe to his teacher (if he does go to school and heard it from a classmate) that he heard it from.

I'm guessing it has something to do with making out with her Polydent (denture cream) I think I would definitely ask him where he picked that one up! Depending on your sons age he probably doesn't know what it means just something he picked up somewhere (I'd be finding out though)! One to tease him about later in life!

Well, what it means, and what he meant are two different things. The true meaning of that is truly disgusting, and I won't spell it out for you- just think about it. He just said it because someone said it to him or in front of him, and it sounded like the right time to use it. I would tell him that what he said is ugly (if he even says it again), and that you don't like it when he says it. Also, ask him where he heard it, because whoever said that around him has no respect for little one's ears, or women for that matter.

That really makes no sense so I'm thinking an older child has said that to him. I'm sure he doesn't know what it means either. It sounds like something said while playing a video game and perhaps he overheard it. Have a little talk with him to find out.

He's been exposed to something or someone inappropriate. My students used to hear that kind of talk on MTV, BET and movies, but they also had family members who talked stupid in front of them. Figure out where he heard it. TV is easy to fix--don't let him watch grown-up shows at home, babysitter's, etc. If he heard that from a relative or friend, you'll have to have a talk with him/her and ask him/her to keep the conversation PG around the little one. I don't envy your task, but you can do it!

I think someone is teaching your son bad phrases. I am sure he doesn't quite know what he's talking about yet... but still to be on the safe side... I'd ask where he learned that... and what he thinks it means. Then express how much you dislike him talking like that.
