I have been selected by my boss to give the prayer at the beginning of our staff meeting next week. I work for a health organization which is owned by the Catholic Church. Does anyone know a prayer I could offer??

Thanks!!!

How about:

Teach us, dear Lord, to number our days
That we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Oh, satisfy us early with Thy mercy
That we may rejoice and be glad all of our days.
And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us.
And establish Thou the work of our hands
And let the beauty of the Lord be upon us
And establish Thou the work of our hands dear Lord
- From Celtic Daily Prayer - A Northumbrian Office

Or:

Fill us at daybreak with your love,
that all our days we may sing for joy.
Make us glad as many days as you humbled us,
for as many years as we have seen trouble.
Show your deeds to your servants,
your glory to their children.
May the favor of the Lord our God be ours.
Prosper the work of our hands!
Prosper the work of our hands!
- Psalm 90:14-17

With love in Christ.

Most merciful God, not our wills, but yours be done.

Help and guide us today as we make decisions in our business so that our daily work may glorify You and Your commandments.

Give us wisdom and open our minds and hearts to the things that matter most to You so that our efforts may be fruitful in Your name.

For Every Man in his Work.

ALMIGHTY God, our heavenly Father, who declarest thy glory and showest forth thy handiwork in the heavens and in the earth; Deliver us, we beseech thee, in our several callings, from the service of mammon, that we may do the work which thou givest us to do, in truth, in beauty, and in righteousness, with singleness of heart as thy servants, and to the benefit of our fellow men; for the sake of him who came among us as one that serveth, thy Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Speak whatever the Holy Spirit prompts you to say at that moment.....

And don't forget to end it in Jesus' name
