There's two steps to this trick.
1 - Give yourself completely and totally to God, not holding anything back, and being totally commited.
2 - Only ask for stuff that God wants done, in His will, for His purpose.
Then, just sit back and watch. He'll give you what you pray for.

You don't demand God to give you anything.
If you need it ,then it will be given to you.
if you are willing to accpet it.
But God only gives to you what is needed or important at the time you ask.
In other worde,
sometimes you might not get what you want, but if you ask ,you may get what you need.

You can't convince God to do anything. But if you are obedient to him, and ask in prayer...you shall receive. Obedience is the key word here though.

first of all by asking this question you are showing your own lack of understanding about god. God does answer all our prayers whether we understand it or not. his promise is to look after our daily needs only, nothing more nothing less. if you are praying for something that is not in a material gain nature then you will receive the blessing if your prayer is honest and heart felt, if your prayer is not in that manor then god will reward you in kind. you prove your worthiness by asking for it over and over again. also remember god will answer your prayer in his time, and not yours. sometimes it takes a while to see how he answered you, and to understand why he answered you in that way.

Sir, Allah (SWT) does exist. However, Allah (SWT) does not work for us. It's the other way around. If it's something good and beneficial, in Allah's (SWT) time, you'll get it insha'Allah.
