parents? What makes them enter into a bond with men whose height is twice as tall as theirs? Is it a wish to give a birth to a tall child? If yes, why don't they opt for low height children? Isn't it beautiful when the partners are of almost the same height, or slightly heigher (a man)?

well for me i like tall guys because its sexier to have someone you can look up to and so forth and so on.. its like out of the movies... for example disney movies.. all the princes were taller than the princess... because it represents heroic traits... like a protector.. my guy is taller than me and i love it because.. i feel safe and umm yeah other reasons ;)

As for the first part of your question, why short women fall in love with tall men:
1. I think this is a generalisation that is not always true
2. It seems to be in human nature that we always want what we can't have. If you have dark hair, you want to be blond, if you have pale skin you tan but if you are dark you desire to be not dark, if you have natural curls you want your hair straight and if you have straight hair you want it curly, and when you are short you want to be tall or be with someone who is tall.
3. I think there is this genetic programming that a man as the feeder and guard has to be strong and big, so I am not surprised neither.
As for the second part of your question, would it not be nice..." I think you expect a lot if you expect people to think about such thinks before they fall in love, aside, you should not judge a book by the cover and who says it would be nicer if people had the same height? This seems to be your personal point of view, not necessarily a common one.

Hi! Like, its funny you should ask this question because my wife is 5ft 2'' and I'm like 6ft 4''. I knew she was for me as soon as I laid eyes on her. When I first met her she was a photographic model and I thought I recognised her from where I worked, in fact I had seen her on page 3 of one of the National Newspapers in fact most of the men out there have seen more of my wife than I'lll ever see of theirs. When we got together I was not happy with the idea of other men gaping so now she has a normal, not so normal job in promotions. Why did she like me, well I'l never know, she says its my personality and laid back manner and the fact that other woman seem to find me attractive (she says that not me)
Her dad is about 5ft 10 and her mum 5ft 3''. You know why people worry about height baffles me, sex is great, our relationship is great, and she wants a baby, which to my mind is a bit soon as we have only been married just over a year. As far as love goes there are just no barriers forget about height and live for today.

If their parents are low of height, I expect you mean that the daughters are low of height too.
I'm short ...All I can say is everyone is tall to me, there's not much of a difference, just coincidentally, they are really tall.

Lets face it, society dictates that taller people are seen as a better type of person than a short person. In the same way society sees thin people are better than fat people. Its not fair, but thats the way it is. So its human nature to overcompensate for their percieved "faults". What a sad society we live in.

i don't prefer tall men i just like a man that is taller than myself, admitidly my dad and mum are only about 5ft7 but i am only 5ft 3 so it is easy to find a guy taller than me.
men are naturally taller than women anyway, (obviously not in every case).

woman dont always go for men taller than them, my mums only 5ft, admittedly my dads quite tall.
but I'm 5'7 and my ex husband was only 5'7 and my current boyfriend is only about 2 inches taller than me. i quite like the same height thing to be honest.

You marry who you love, sometimes tall men seem to be stronger and in controll and thats the attraction.
