It depends on the restaurant. If I am going to a sit down place I do expect a wait and dont mind (unless of course they are overly slow-a couple weeks ago we waited 45 minutes at a place before leaving and no one had even taken our drink order)
At a place like you are describing I think as long as the food is out within ten minutes then that is fine-and I get the peace of mind of knowing my food is fresh. Anything longer then that I could be at a dining restaurant and I do not want to wait that long.
We have a place like you are talking about near me that when they first opened a few years ago it took them over 20 minutes sometimes to bring your food it was really irritating

Freshness or quality of product is more important to me. If I have o wait a little bit for good food I am okay with it. But it better be worth the extra wait. I have been to restaurants like yours and I prefer them to fast food. Fast Food sucks!

I can wait as long as needed granted my food will be good. Even when I go through the drive through, I'm never in a rush. Where I work we never advertise or say anything about our food being done fast(although it is most of the time, when we're not busy atleast) but there are those who always expect it done in a few minutes. Sure I could serve it to them if they dont mind raw dough and samanila in their chicken.

Fresh, it's much nicer! I would want to know about the system though; sometimes I pick up fastfood at the trainstation where I have to change trains, then I only have a few minutes (or I have to wait another 30 minutes to catch the next train). So if you were at a trainstation, busstation etc I can understand people being in a hurry. In other situations I think a few minutes' wait would be well worth it!

If I go to a sit-down establishment I expect to wait a bit longer than when standing at the counter at McD's or any other fast-food place. I go to sit-down places for a higher quality of food and different atmosphere than a fast food rest, so yes I'd expect to wait a few minutes for my food..but not as long as it would take to grow/harvest it.

It really depends on whether im in a hurry or not. If im not trying to be somewher in a limited time then i would prefer my food to be made fresh. (although i would love for my food to be fresh at all times, i know most of the time i cant have it both ways...LOL)

Fast service is always wonderful...and a worthy goal to want to reach for any kind of food place.
But I am surely willing to wait if I know that is how it is.
Unless am in a hurry & hv to get somewhere. Then I might get impatient, and might even leave.

It depends on how much of a hurry I am in! If I have time and want delicious quality food, I'll go to a sit-down restaurant. If I'm in a hurry, I want something slapped together and thrown in a bag!

Fresh any day! I eat at Jasons Deli almost every day (Salads!)
and I have never had a freshness issue. It is always packed in there, so it is a few minutes wait. They are privately held, otherwise I would invest in stock for sure...

Freshness, I don't mind waiting as long as it's not a really long wait
