& throbbing pain plus I have bad heartburn .

that's what you call hyperacidity..you have diarrhea because your intestinal wall is being irritated by the excess acid in your stomach. The pain you feel is called gas pains and its in the left side because your stomach is located in that area. You have heartburn bec of the increased acid level that you have, sometimes you even have difficulty breathing. When your acid level is elevated, it compresses your diaphragm that' s why you have a feeling of being choked..take antacids to relieve the pain, avoid oily and spicy foods..quit smoking and alcohol

possibly IBS or diverticulitis. You need to see a GI specialist.

How long have you been experiencing this? It would be a problem with your appendix if this is a recent problem.

you could have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) there are medications for this.
