Okay so me and my boyfriend have been dating for about a month now. Him and I are going through a tough time. Personally I think he can be too blunt, too critical.. while he thinks that I am too reserved/not outgoing enough. Initially he said that this is what he liked about me.. that I am a good listener which I am. I don't plan on changing who I am, but i do want thsi relationshipp to work because I care about him.

lol that's like me and my bf. (our personalities)
yes, you're right, you should never change yourself for anyone. you are you, and unique in that way. the most important thing is if he feels the same way and wants to make it work. if you both agree to try hard to make this relationship work, it will=) good luck!

Sweetie you can never change a person unless they want to change just like you said, you dont plan to change and i am sure neither does he. I think you both have to compromise or break it off before it goes any farther. Trust me if this is a big problem imagine later. Either have a super serious conversation about this or leave it.
Good luck

I think for any relationship to work there has to be respect on both sides. No one likes to be criticized and constantly evaluated by their lovers... especially someone who is looking for validation and that hasn't dated that person for long. I think a month is too early to be so blunt about your girlfriends "problems". I hope it works out for you...

honestly i think that if he can't accept you the way you are then get rid of him. you don't need that kind of negativity around you, especially if you like who you are. sounds like he is a bit insecure and lacks confidence in himself which is why he resorts to criticizing you. you can do way better!!

Dont give in if your not that type of girl.. but you can give in gradually to keep him satisfied...dont just go straight to third base or whatever base hes trying to go for.. if hes respects you.. he should be able to wait
