It's a bless, not a compliment :)
To be like prophet's companions "Sahaba" . . What an honor!
But sadly, not ALL Muslims do not fear death
Only those who are prepared to death do not fear it
Those who truly tasted the love of Allah upon his obedience
Preparation feeling exists in the heart when you try your best to obey Allah in everything and lives the life for one aim "Heaven and seeing Allah there", hence; Allah blesses you with the "prepared feeling and the no fear of death"
May Allah grant me and you this bless AMEEN

I agree with the fourth answerer. Doesn't whether you fear death or not depend on how the person sees themselves and their life? If I'd done a lot of bad deeds and I was aware I'd done them and wasn't trying to excuse or justify them, then I can only imagine I'd fear death. If I'd done lots of bad deeds but had justified them in my mind, then I don't think I'd fear it. I'd put it out of my mind and somehow think if I died, I would likely be heading to Heaven rather than Hell. If I've done a lot of good deeds and was aware of them, then I don't think I'd be scared of death. If I'd done a lot of good deeds, but have always pushed myself to do more and more because I was afraid they weren't enough to get me into Heaven, then I'm sure I'd be scared of death. In my mind, I'd be most likely to go to Hell than Heaven. Some people are afraid of dying, because they fear pain so much. Other people are afraid of what's going to happen afterwards. Some people don't give either much thought. I don't think it's any different with Muslims. By the way, some of the comments here are really disgusting, but why am I surprised? Some people can't think for themselves.

I am a Muslim and I sorta kinda fear death, it's not like we don't fear death because we are evil lol but because during our life we are being tested by God. So during our daily tests of how we treat family, friends, and neighbors, as well as the environment and animals we are preparing for our death. We try to prepare for our death by practicing our religion as best as we can and since we are very sure of what we believe why fear death, when you are going to be awaited by some of the greatest leaders of Islam and Almighty God!

I am a Muslim (and proud of it)
I think if one fears their death, they fear that they will loose power.
They feel that all their, wealth, riches and "dirty/temporarily pleasurable" lifestyle will leave them. And also people who fear death fear Hell. That is a very important concept to understand..People who fear death, fear Hell.
I honestly don't fear death. I fear not living my life to the fullest and dying before i start my own family and become a famous interior designer..lol that's my dream.
I don't fear death because in the Quran every single sura starts with "In the name of Allah the most gracious, most merciful"
I have faith that as long as i keep my five pillars up and repentance then i know that our God, the most gracious most merciful, will have a food future for me.
I love Allah and I KNOW He love me, so because of this why i do not fear death.
God Bless

i believe Muslims do fear death .death reminds us how fragile human life is .the prophet and his companions ,even though were great Muslims feared death.why shouldn't we the sinners fear it. death reminds us we should be better people and to follow the right path in life.to be kind to all.you could die any minute ,but are you ready for death?what good have you done in your life to not fear death.

If it makes one evil, then many are guilty. I follow some wise words from a very wise Man. And I plan on going out just like it says.
So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the Great Divide. Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and grovel to none.
When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself. Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, die like a hero going home.
- Great Chief Tucumseh

As i expected your question would be taken for the suicidal bombers....Well what i believe about suicidal bombers is that they are misguided people.brainwahed enough not to knwo that they are wrong.and infact those are the people who would live in hell forever.thats a promise of Allah to them ! they don't deserve any mercy !
As for talking of normal muslim community...so i think we have a strong conviction that we are suppose to die and have a life hereafter....and that Allah has kept rewards for everyone there....we don't ahve the feelings that we would lose everything after the death.and would start a new life....i think this is the believe that make us a bit fearless....we believe in our creator that he is merciful and would treat us well ! provided we are good in this life ! and not a suicidal bomber ofcourse !!

THE GIFT OF 100 YEARS OF LIFE .
Now lets just say that there is life after death . @ this point you would have shed the flesh because we know that wont last for ever . OK now that you have shed the flesh what would you physically feel with :like hot cold the feel of some 1 touching you .
Thees are just a few things we do with our flesh .
afrade to die? Hevens no (In a way cant wait ) but I would lose the gift of life in the flesh . that is some thing that I dont know if i will get again so dont want to lose it just yet.
Got a joke for you.
1 day a man was in the lower level of his house and some water started to flow in. So he went outside and a big truck pulled up out front of his house. A man in the truck yelled at him and said come with us thier is a flood comeing .
So the man yelled back to them thats ok GOD will save me.
So he went back to his house and prayed
The water got so high that he had to go to the upstairs of his house. and looking out the window he saw a boat.
A man in the boat yelled to him saying come with us we are here to save you . the man yelled back and said GOD will save me .
So they left and he prayed . now the water got so high that he had to go to the roof . just then a helicoppter came above him and a load speaker said come with us we are here to save you and he said no GOD will save me.
Then the water sweep him away and he died.
So when he saw GOD he said i waited for you to save me and the water sweep me away.
GOD said i sent you a truck a boat and a helicoppter what more did you want?
