I've gone through this once, he said he was sorry. Year later he did it again...he said he was sorry...
Does it ever end...?
NOTE: He is intoxicated when he does this...with people around...why?

The saying goes "you're true personality comes out when you get drunk." I don't care if he'd been drinking. There is no excuse for a man to verbally abuse his woman at any time. Every single time he'll be sorry. What if next time it isn't verbal? You need to give him just ONE more chance. Tell him it's either you or the drinks. You deserve better, hon.

oh Hun you know the answer to this question already
no it doesn't stop. i had a verbally abusive father and for the longest time it was just yelling and spitting and saying horrible things to me and then after about 6 years it turned into almost hitting me. he would swing and miss me by inches
and plus if he is a drunk and he gets angry at you in public it will get worse when he is really drunk and you are alone.
it only gets worse from here
please leave him

People who do things like this to the ones they CLAIM to love most really dont care and are usually unwilling to change. You dont need that kind of abuse. YOUR A WOMAN. Women should never be treated like that! DONT EVER TAKE THAT. Plus if he's a drunkard, not a good person to be with.

He's showing off for his maggot friends when he does this. I know from experience. "Hey guys...watch me beat down my girl!" That's what's going through his brain.
I'd give him a choice. You, or the beer, because it's true what they say...it'll only get worse if you don't put your foot down now.
He'll either shape up or ship out honey! If he casts sail...you do the same and go find someone that loves women more than alcohol!! Good luck!!

From verbal abuse it will move on to emotional then to physical. I know I have been there. He either gives up the booze or he gets out!

He is a small insignificant worm that needs to try and put you down and make you feel like crap to boost his own insecurities. He won't stop.

you inhibit him too much, and men can't take argueing, so they wait until they have others around for moral support and then the alcohol gives him the courage to say what he really feels.
