I'm thinking you are not talking about having both husbands at the same time but are wondering if you've committed adultery by remarrying. Am I right? If that's the case...

Scripturally it would depend on the reason for the end of your first marriage. Jesus said that a marriage could be broken in God's eyes on two grounds... death and fornication/adultery. If you meet one of those conditions, then you are in the clear.

Adultry is without benefit of marriage. In most jurisdictions people are allowed only one spouse at a time, so a second marriage while the first was still valid would be considered invalid, and yes, a state of adultry.

That only works for men. They have made up these rules that it isn't bad if they have two wives. In fact it doesn't cause desease or it is actually good for you.
But for a women to do that is a sin and she should die and it causes disease and bad stuff. I asked a MD about that and she said "There isn't any difference between a man having two wives and a women being with two men. It all carrys disease and it isn't healthy. try telling that to a muslim.
Do we have a double standard are you asking? Yes

I think it is contingent upon the religion.

In my religion there is only a few good reasons for divorce.

1. Abuse
2.Cheating with another women. I think you would have to give him the chance to repent and be forgivin but if he continues to do so it is valid for divorce.

I am Mormon but - like I said it depends upon your religion guidlines.

I would pray about it and or seek a bishops council.

Not if they were both your husband. After all, how many biblical kings had many wives? David and Solomon had dozens and were beloved of god. Why shouldn't we be able to do the same?
Of course, the secular authorities might have something to say about it....

It is illegal in most states, and in fact illegal in most countries for a woman to have more than one spouse. Personally, I think that you should do whatever you want to as long as you're not hurting anyone. As long as you're husbands are cool with it.

"had" - past tense. Are they dead?

Adultery? I guess not, if you were married to each,... one at a time, one before the other.
