No, the 8 stands for the number of different vegetables in V8. Ketchup would only account for the tomato. Besides, non organic ketchup is full of sugars and artificial stuff

If you did this it would make a weak Tomato Sauce.
I do this all the time when I am actually out of Tomato Sauce and don't want to go to the store for just one item.
But - to answer your question - Yes it could make a "form" of V8 but you would have to spice it up by putting garlic powder, paprika, salt, a little cummin, a pinch of oregano, and a pinch of basil in it.
And if you did this - and added Vodka to it you would have one hell of a Bloody Mary!

Maybe not V-8 because V-8 has everything from celery to beet juice in it....But you may make something that is slightly like a watered down tomato juice?

no... v8 is a mix of many different types of vegetables including beets, spinach, celery, lettuce and watercress...
