If anyone watches "$40 a Day" and/or "Tasty Travels", do you all find it strange that wherever she goes, and whatever she eats/drinks, she always rolls her eyes back and says "wow" or
"mmmmmmm!!!!"? I mean really.Is the food anywhere that good, or is she lying right in front or camera??????????????

I am sure she researched the places that she goes before hand....so it probably is good food, but I don't think that it is that good.

Well I'm sure the food is good. They check the places before they let her go there. It's not like she just picks on the spur of the moment. So you know she's going to get some great food. And if she just took a bite, and sat there, it wouldn't really be good television. That would be boring Everything is dramatized on TV anyhow. She's over the top to help the restaurants have proof the food is delicious, plus she's having fun with it, and making the show more watchable.

I concur with AceofBears...she's giving a more "Hollywood" reaction than a person normally would.
But I'm sure that whatever it is she's eating/drinking and commenting on, it probably really IS quite good. Those TV "plugs" that the restaurants get from Rachael are probably pretty good for business.
And I would imagine that when they serve an item to Rachael---or anybody else on TV---they make sure it's PERECT.

Sit her in front of a Big Mac, Super-Sized Fries and an apple pie and she'd do the same freakin' thing. The chick loves food. I can't figure how she doesn't weigh 400 lbs by now.
Of course she's lying sometimes.

She does it because she is an idiot. I can't stand her! She really plays it up for the cameras. Maybe the food is just that dang good, but I don't need to see her "O" face every dang time she eats something. Did you know she isn't even a chef? What a liar! I would love to punch her in her big ugly mouth and shove her EVOO up her A.S.S!

I think maybe she just has a really easy-to-please palate....I mean, have you SEEN some of those things she makes on the 30 minute meals show?!?! YUCK! It seems like she makes some version of mac and cheese at least twice a week...

I think that she is just doing her job ... which is just whatever is on the screen. They don't necessarily say everything and they might not actually tell you how much is spent on each meal to trick you into watching the show. Horrable producers.

She is stretching the show out to make it last.What would it look like if she spit it out and said,Sheeit that is gross?Think about it, if you were she and made that money wouldn't you make it look good?I would...Good question.
